Our guest today is Phillip Day who is based in the United Kingdom and heads up the international health publishing and research organisation called Credence. Phillip is an internationally renowned journalist, author and speaker.
He is also founder of the worldwide citizen’s advocacy movement, The Campaign for Truth in Medicine - a theme dear to The Good Doctors hearts.
Phillip joins us to discuss what prompted him to form the organisation searching for truth in medicine. He also discusses the importance of Vitamin D, how it impacts on our health and the fascinating impact of a shower after being in the sun. We also discuss topics about modern diseases like Alzheimer's and dementia, and the problem with modern medicine and why it is so important to have a holistic approach to one's health.
Phillip Day’s What’s News tour comes to New Zealand and Australia beginning in October 2013.
I was on a radio show the other night actually and they had a doctor on and he came out and he said.... "Who is Philip Day?"
I said to him I’m pleased you asked me that, Doctor, because I think you might need to remind me. I’m the public whom you serve... And it all went quiet.
I founded the campaign for Truth in Medicine because a number of members of my family died completely unnecessarily in one year.
