Art Activist Matt Willey talks about being on The Today Show July 29! From there we follow his journey back to some of his earlier murals when he painted the 180' wall on the headquarters of Burt's Bees.  Matt also discusses the mission, purpose, and his hopes for The Good of the Hive.

Follow Matt as he begins to turn his dream of painting 50,000 bees into a reality.
Starting out with a failed Kick Starter, it seemed the idea was doomed, but Matt set his intention with such determination, that when he was unsuspectedly thrown in front of a rural city council they gave him unanimous consent. One thing rapidly led to another and before too long, he was commissioned to paint a mural on  the 180 foot wall of Burt's Bees corporate headquarters in Durham N.C. The dream was finally becoming a reality.

Matt begins his journey to paint 50,000 bees with the first bee mural in La Belle, FL. It's not often one recognizes a pivotal point in one's life as it is happening. Matt did, and the bee on a stranger's shoulder led the way. We also want to give a special shout out for the intro music "Sunrise of Forever" by Layne Redmond, from her album Hymns from the Hive.
