The Good Stuff with Deborah James

What are the ways we can care for the earth? To celebrate World Earth Day this week, Deborah, Eloise and Hugo enjoy a quick-fire quiz about the planet, as well as setting each other challenges for the week that will help the environment. They also speak with Lizzie Car who started a company called Plastic Patrol which is helping to remove litter from over 80 countries around the world.

A global bear hunt, a 'Wash Your Hands' song created by comedians and a love of Zac Efron in High School Musical are just some of the positive things Deborah, Eloise and Hugo chat about on today's instalment of The Good Stuff. They also hear from listeners at home who are sharing their own fun-filled news of the week. To get involved and help spread your good news, email your voicenote to [email protected]

The trio also chat to Jaime Thurston, founder of 52 Lives, who started a movement of 100,000 people spreading kindness to those in need.

Hosted by award-winning podcaster Deborah James and her two children Eloise and Hugo, The Good Stuff pod is here to see families through the next 8 weeks of staying in and staying positive. Each Monday, Deborah, Eloise and Hugo will investigate the research around the ‘good stuff’ covering questions such as how does music boost your mood? Why should we look after the animals on our planet? And what does kindness look like in different countries around the world? Each Thursday will be a "good news only" channel, sharing good news sent in from you guys at home, as well as exciting stories of positive news from around the world.
