Sa episode na eto, kilalanin natin si G. Alex Dayrit, isang karaniwang drayber ng dyipni na may hindi-pangkaraniwang malasakit.
Negros Women For Tomorrow Foundation, Inc. (NWTF) in its webinar series gives you…Dr. Iris Echaus, a seasoned Development, and Behavioral Pediatrician as she shares tips on keeping children engaged and stimulated at home.
Parents --mothers especially, would agree that there are no perfect ways or steps in raising a child. However, this webinar is not just for parents, it is for everyone. For doting grandparents, for cool aunts and uncles, and for the loving siblings who are tasked to watch over the younger ones at home.
With the pandemic, children can not leave the house, making learning and social activities very limited. Often, we strive to find ways to keep them active and ensure that their development is not taken for granted.
Chairperson of Build, Build, Build Committee, Ms. Anna Mae Yu Lamentillo, recently gave us an update on the on-going construction of bridges across Pasig and Marikina rivers. Part of the EDSA Decongestion Masterplan is the construction of new bridges and re-enforcement of existing bridges all over Metro Manila. The plan is to increase the crossing points over the rivers criss-crossing Metro Manila, and ease up traffic on the bottlenecks.
Two new bridges are scheduled for opening to motorists in September 2021. Estrella-Pantaleon Bridge will connect Mandalayuong and Makati over Pasig river. Over 50,000 vehicles are expected to pass through this bridge, reducing traffic volume over the Mandaluyong Bridge. The Binondo-Intramuros Bridge will cross from Solana all the way to San Fernado bridge with a viaduct over the Estero de Binondo. The bridge will take some of the volume off the old Jones Bridge.

To prevent traffic build up in the Pasig side, the streets of Brixton and Failane will be widened to accommodate additional vehicles. Scheduled to be finished in August 2021, the new bridge is expected to handle 30,000 vehicles daily, easing up traffic volume on Guadalupe Bridge.
March 31, 2021 is the deadline for all operators of traditional jeepneys to consolidate and form themselves into cooperatives or corporations to operate the public utility units in their respective routes. The PUV modernization program discourages individual or independent operators as they tend to compete resulting to adverse impact to commuters. Senior connsultant of Dept of Transportation, Engr Alberto Suansing, himself a former chief of the LTFRB, provides us a picture of the scenario beyond March 2021.
"Binabasa ko ang thread sa social media, at pini-presume nila na ang pillion driver, yan yung naka-angkas sa motorsiklo, ay hindi covered ng provision dahil hindi considered na operating a motorcycle. Yan ang pagkamali ng marami na hindi nakakaunawa as far as motorcycle operation is concerned," yan ang bungad ni Engr. Alberto H. Suansing, dating pinuno ng LTO at may akda ng nasabing regulasyon.
