1. Make to yourselves a new heart, and a new spirit (Ezechiel 18:31; ref. Romans 7:6)

2. I will pour clean water [Holy Spirit] upon you and put my Spirit in the midst of you and give you a new heart and a new spirit, and cause you to walk in my laws. (Ezechiel 36:24-27)

3. The Holy Spirit teaches us and we then apply our spirit [mind] to put to death the deeds of the flesh [quit sinning by breaking God's laws]. With our Renewed [Reborn] spirit [mind] we are then to serve the Law of God. (John 14:26; Romans 7:6-25; Romans 8:13, 12:1-2; Titus 3:5-6)

4. Baptism represents our having died with Christ, and death acquits from sin, so that when we arise from the watery grave of baptism we can now walk in newness of a sin-free life, the old self has been crucified with him. (Romans 6:3-7)

Man has a Spirit

1. That which is Born of Holy Spirit is spirit [our mind]

(John 3:6)

2. Romans 7:21-25

21 Therefore, when I wish to do good I discover this law, namely, that evil is at hand for me.

22 For I am delighted with the law of God according to the inner man.

23 but I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind and making me prisoner to the law of sin that is in my members.

24 Unhappy man that I am! Who will deliver me from the body of this death?

25 The grace of God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Therefore I myself with my mind serve the law of God, but with my flesh the law of sin.

3. in order that the requirements of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the spirit [mind]. (Romans 8:4)

4. Romans 8:8-9, 13-16

8 And they who are carnal cannot please God.

Angel, simply means messenger. God created angels to minister to or aid human beings who are to inherit salvation. He uses two types of angels:

1. Heavenly spirits, who, when they are sent to give a man or woman his message, usually take on the appearance of a man, and

2. actual earthly flesh and blood men born of woman.

God specifically says we are not to worship - give God-like honor, respect or reverence to - the angels, for anyone, or anything, that is exalted in the sight of man is an abomination to God.

1. Horns represent power or strength or kingship. (Jeremias 23:5-6 and Luke 1:68-71; also Habacuc 3:4)

2. Jesus has the seven horns and seven eyes which are the seven spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. (Apocalypse 5:6)

3. Horns are in Jesus' hands, there is his strength hid. (Habacuc 3:4)

4. Jesus is the horn of salvation promised by God. (Jeremias 23:5-6)

No close relationship can exist without trust between the two individuals involved. Once trust is broken, so is the relationship. This is why God permits divorce when adultery occurs - the trust between the man and his wife is broken.

So, before you take a person as a true friend whom you can always rely on, carefully observe his/her speech over a significant period of time to find out if he/she lies to you or other people - if he/she lies to others, he/she will eventually lie to you. Also, if he/she lies about little things, he/she will lie about big things. Whatever you do, don't dismiss a little lie as inconsequential, but do as God says, flee away as fast as you can - your future happiness is at stake.

“Us” refers to those who show their love for Him by keeping His commandments. He will not live in those who do not keep His commandments and especially the immoral, (i.e., the fornicator, adulterer, effeminate, sodomite or drunkard).

13 And there shall be still a tithing therein, and she shall turn, and shall be made a show as a turpentine tree, and as an oak that spreads its branches: that which shall stand therein, shall be a holy seed.
