The Bible contains many examples of people who waited many years, before God led them to their life-defining moments. Joseph. Moses. Jesus.

From John 11:1-7. The story of Jesus raising Lazarus, Ryan leads us to wonder why Jesus waited two whole days before going to help Lazarus. People who God loves get sick and experience pain - guaranteed! However God uses these trying experiences for his glory. Why doesn’t God show up sometimes right when we need him? Ryan identities a lens of trusting that God is good, and that he is doing something good even in the waiting and the pain, because he loves us.

The average person is not able to control the big things that are happening in this Covid threatened world. But we can partner with God, growing closer to Jesus in the process, to bring good out of bad, in our own sphere of influence. Josh unpacks these processes, how to truly know Christ, become like him, go beyond what we thought possible with our lives and follow the examples of Biblical and real life giants of our faith. In this we will set an example for others to follow as we grow in intimate followship with Jesus.
