Great footy players and other great sportsmen and women, great politicians, great philanthropists. What makes us as Christians strive for greatness and what defines greatness? Jesus defined greatness. He told stories of caring for little children, of serving others, especially the poor and needy. and taught about having the heart of a servant and humbly washed the dirty feet of his disciples. Main point? God wants us to be great, by HIS definition of greatness built on humility and a culture of servant-hood.

A great church will be a church of great servants and will be known for this in the wider community

The happiest people belong to God's Kingdom. Entry to this real and eternal Kingdom is free and every human heart craves for this Kingdom. People who live in this Kingdom are defined by who they are and not by what they do. The Beatitudes in Matt 5:3-12 tell us something about these happy enriched people, and these people are to be congratulated. These people see themselves as spiritually poor, they wait upon the Lord, gentleness live in them, they claim nothing as theirs, they crave for righteousness and demonstrate tender mercy, they have a pure heart, make peace and bear the wounds of persecution.

Preaching from Romans 8:14-16, Matt speaks about the experience of being children of God. Led by the Spirit of God, we have become family, adopted as his own children. God's Spirit bears witness to this reality in our own spirits. Matt illustrates this teaching of Paul with the concept of an organisational charts, which enables people to know where they stand in an organisation.

Many children group up in a place of privilege, not understanding that our freedoms, values and prosperity have only come into our culture through Jesus and through his followers over many generations.

The cultural transformation of our Western society has come firstly through the Holy Spirit transformation of individual hearts then minds. Too good to be true? Every area of our society can trace the positive influence of Christian people in its history.

From Jesus' own mother, Mary to the latest convert to Christianity, a relationship with Jesus has meant a person being transformed and sent to be a culture-changer by faith. Pastor Sue shows how faith can transform fearful people into fearless people, and thus to impact the culture around them.

Craig recounts testimonies of healing which point to something greater - the reality of the power of Jesus. Healed knees. Pain reduction in a back. A powerfully restored hamstring. Fibromyalgia gone. The name of Jesus heals and sets free, just as Jesus healed when he walked this earth - often irrespective of our faith. However, there are times when we need to deal with death or ongoing sickness. Craig explains the process of staying in the game even in the agony of defeat moments in life then prays for and ministers to the sick in the congregation.

God wants to speak life into your life. A culture of prophecy in a church can develop to the point where every person can be comforted, encouraged and strengthened every time the church gathers, both in corporate meetings and community (small group) meetings.

The story of Ezekiel prophesying to the valley of dry bones is explored, along with the New Testament book of 1 Corinthians, to motivate and guide us all into stepping out into a supernatural prophesying which is also intensely natural and practical. Go and get it so that the church can be united and strong.
