We speak with Mike Sule Executive Director of Asheville on Bikes. Mike has been a proponent and advocate for more bike friendly infrastructure in Asheville for over 10 years.  As the pandemic has shown, more people are cycling and being outdoors to commute than ever before.  With many people not wanting to take public transit, ride sharing and simply because biking is a safe outdoor activity during COVID-19.

We speak with Michael Rayburn - founder of Rayburn Farms.  He and his wife Lauren started the farm in 2014 with a desire to explore their love of agriculture and experimentation. We speak about how COVID-19 has changed the farming industry and the changes he has had to make along the way.  We discuss his unique approach to farming and the specific plants and botanicals he has chosen.  But as we often do, we shift to the philosophical and Michael brings a unique perspective to the weaknesses in our systems and how the pandemic has highlighted these weaknesses and what he believes will propel us in a better way forward.
