Veteran astrologer and Mystical Messages podcast host Hilary Harley shares her cosmic forecast for the month of August 2025.  Messenger Mercury is retrograde as the month opens, allowing plenty of time to rest, re-set and relax. If you haven’t taken vacation yet this summer, the first part of August is the perfect time to refresh yourself.  Manage your expectations about how much you will accomplish during the first ten days of August. 

Under the spotlight of the full moon in radical Aquarius on Saturday, August 9th, Mercury turns direct motion the very next day.  Sunday, August 10th we can begin moving forward with signing major documents, purchasing large ticket items or booking travel plans.  Leo Mercury aligns helpfully to Neptune and Saturn in Aries pushing us to take risks and go for it!  It is especially safe to do so now that both Valuable Venus and Generous Jupiter are in nurturing Cancer the Crab.  This duo has our back and acts as a guardian angel.  Watch for silver linings.

Our grand designs are called into sharp focus at the New Moon on Saturday, August 23rd.  In practical Virgo, both Sun and Moon prompt us to get real, to make a plan and execute our ideas.  Remember to hand write 3-5 goals or intentions that you seek to manifest.  Plant these in the warm, soft earth to manifest over the coming month or season.
