What does it mean to truly be grateful to God for all that He has done? Our words of thanks carry no weight if our gratitude does not translate into real transformation of our hearts and our lives. We must not be entitled to think that all we have or achieve exists because of our strengths, but come to recognise that everything we have and hold comes from the goodness of God.

Let us pray against the spirit of entitlement and pride, and ask for the grace to truly cultivate a heart of genuine and deep gratitude for the goodness of God.
