Your wonderful hosts look back at some trailers they enjoyed and decide whether or not the movies lived up to their expectations. Namely, BLUE VALENTINE (2010), THE TREE OF LIFE (2011), CLOUD ATLAS (2012), THE DARK KNIGHT (2008) and SUCKER PUNCH (2011).

Shockingly, we decide to accept another listener request - our first in approximately 2 1/2 years - and it just so happens to be a 3-hour French lesbian love story rated NC-17. More importantly though, BLUE IS THE WARMEST COLOR is a film that left us in shambles emotionally.

Considered one of the best films ever made, Martin Scorsese's masterpiece RAGING BULL remains a towering artistic achievement nearly 40 years after it was first released into theaters. We discuss how it transcended the labels of 'sports movie' and 'biopic' to become one of the most revered collaborations between Scorsese and it's star, Robert De Niro. We also say all our usual goofy, dumb shit too.

In the Summer of 2017, Disney returned to Camp Waziyatah in Waterford, ME - site of the original season of Bug Juice - and filmed a revival of the once famous reality series to air the following the year. Bug Juice: My Adventures at Camp served as an opportunity for this podcast to return to our favorite topics (for some reason): summer camp, summer fun and summer love. Does the reboot hold a candle to the original? Do we have any plans of our own to attend summer camp as 30+ year-old losers? Listen to find out!

Also known as Private School... For Girls, this 1983 teen sex romp stars Phoebe Cates hot off of Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Matthew Modine and the incomparable Betsy Russell. It's lewd, rude and completely inappropriate (not to mention flat out criminal at times)... so in other words, it's the perfect closer for this year's edition of ONE TRASHY SUMMER!

We kick things off with a classic erotic thriller/neo-noir, BODY HEAT, starring William Hurt and Kathleen Turner, directed by Lawrence Kasdan. It's one of the sweatiest movies ever made! There's twists and turns aplenty and a lot of sex! It's trashy, it's art, it's both! BODY HEAT ends up being a lot of fun to watch and talk about!

This week we travel to a land called suburbia in the pursuit of beer, bodacious bud and fine chicks! We're talkin' THE STONED AGE! This is a lost 90s stoner classic supposedly set in the late 1970s that was discovered by many when it would run on the USA Network, sometimes as a double feature with DAZED AND CONFUSED. It's a rare "double comedy" in that it's both intentionally and unintentionally hilarious.
FYI, there are a lot of things about this movie that do not particularly age well...
