Making the best out of a bad situation, we wrap up The Greatest October in the History of Forever with a big time double feature!  First, we discuss THE FOG - technically a horror movie (we guess), but also a spiritual companion to an old show favorite.  But that's not all folks!  We then give our thoughts on 1983's Psycho II - a movie that has a certain charm and is far, far better than you would expect it to be.  We also tease the possibility of a future bonus "October" episode to make up for some of the issues we experienced this month.

The Greatest October in the History of Forever continues as we discuss one of the best reviewed films of the year, GET OUT.  We go over the interesting backstory of Jordan Peele's original inspiration for the story, casting possibilities, the layered text, Catherine Keener and try really, really hard to not sound like idiots when talking about race.  It's a horror movie with a relevant social commentary, which makes for an interesting episode.

It's that time of year, folks.  We take a moment to rank the films of the Halloween series, give our thoughts on each one in general and discuss next year's reboot/sequel/whatever.  It's all things Michael Myers (well, except Halloween III: Season of the Witch, but that's a whole other episode!).

WARNING: This episode contains graphic and somewhat disturbing passages read directly from the novel.  Listener discretion is advised.

Anyway, we continue our discussion of the original mini-series, give our thoughts and feelings on the 2017 remake, read a couple of the more horrifying parts of the original novel (for some reason) and discuss predictions for the yet-to-be-cast sequel coming in 2019.  We're really at a point where we cannot talk about IT anymore.

Thanks for listening!  Next episode will be far less explicit (probably). Follow the show on Twitter: @GreatestPod and subscribe on iTunes!

The Greatest October in the History of Forever kicks off with part 1 of our mammoth discussion of the classic 1990 mini-series, IT.  That's right, no 2017 remake for us!  We're talking made-for-TV cheese in all it's glory.  It's a blast of nostalgia that is right up our alley.  We also discuss the novel (maybe a bit too much), however, we save the spoilers of the new movie currently in theaters for part 2.  So, you're in the clear if you haven't seen it yet.

In what basically amounts to a little bit of a teaser before our GREATEST OCTOBER celebration really kicks off, we discuss the mostly forgotten 2002 film THE MOTHMAN PROPHECIES.  We're not really sure why, but somehow, we get a lot out of it.  Plus, we realize that we're really into Debra Messing in general.

The wait is finally over!  Zach and Matt dive into their first ever listener request episode, discussing one of the best films of the 2000s, LOST IN TRANSLATION.
