The Greatest Moments in the History of Forever episodes

  • Wild Things

Join us for a fun discussion of one the craziest relics from the bygone era that was the 1990s: WILD THINGS.  This movie has everything you could ever want and more!  Also, Zach tries to figure out just what Matt is asking and things nearly fall apart completely. SHOW NOTE: The next episode you see will be the first LISTENER REQUEST episode!  You have through Monday, September 18th to get your very own listener request submitted.  Once the clock hits midnight next Monday night, we will no longer be accepting Listener requests for the time being.

  • Poltergeist (1982)

In perhaps our most somber episode to date, we discuss some of the awful offscreen realities that led to the idea of the "Poltergeist Curse," as well as the controversy over who exactly directed the film, the promiscuous daughter subplot, overly creepy construction workers, hot moms of the 1980s and much, much more.  Despite some of the grim subject matter, this is a really fun episode that serves almost as a little teaser for our upcoming Greatest October in the History of Forever.

  • Picnic at Hanging Rock

"What we see and what we seem are but a dream, a dream within a dream..."  So starts Peter Weir's fascinating, mysterious and haunting 1975 film, Picnic at Hanging Rock.  It's a fitting, yet still baffling quote, one that encapsulates the feel of this film perfectly.  We understand that a lot of our listeners probably haven't seen this film, but sometimes we like to think of our show as our own version of film school.  Don't worry, there's still plenty of creep moments from Zach and Matt.  Check out this episode and then do yourself a favor and check out the film, too.

Also, Listen for a huge announcement that directly involves listener participation!

  • The Social Network

Kicking off what is sure to be a monumental week for the show, we dive right in to a big-time discussion of a film centered around the creation of Facebook.  Why is Mark Zuckerberg so unlikable and yet still kind of the protagonist?  Does the success of Facebook prove that humanity is doomed?  How did Rooney Mara work her way into Zach's heart forever?  We talk about at least some of these topics (probably) and so much more as we finally enter the world of David Fincher on the pod.  Thanks for listening (as always) and keep your eye on our feed this week!
