Surprise! We're back with the second installment of our mini-episodes series, Give Us a Second, and this time we're recapping our favorite films of 2016 just in time for The Oscars. We also get into a couple of flicks we won't be watching again any time soon!

Yep. We got lazy again... so instead of bailing on you completely, we decided to do another audio commentary. We were hoping to have improved in this format since the last time. Oh well. As a reminder, YOU DON'T HAVE TO ACTUALLY WATCH ALONG WITH US - you can just enjoy our conversation! This time, we watch a particularly relevant classic, Back to the Future, PART II. If you hate the audio commentaries, don't worry. We aren't very likely to keep doing them and everything will return to normal for episode 55.

It was only a matter of time before Zach and Matt could contain themselves no longer and decided to discuss one of the greatest films of all time, Boogie Nights. It's an action-packed, sexually explicit episode, so you might want to make sure your earbuds are securely plugged-in if you're listening at work! Plus, the greatest podcasting duo in the history of forever finally get to talk about one of the most unbelievable scenes in film history - If you've seen Boogie Nights, you know what we mean!

We return to the world of television, invading the Dawson's Creek Universe and all of it's teen angst and drama. Listen as we discuss the dynamics of male/female friendships, compare The Creek to The O.C. and wonder how a guy like Pacey could ever pull off a relationship with one of his high school teachers. It's a very funny episode that you definitely do not want to miss.

It was only a matter of time before we caved and entered the world of Kevin Smith and we'll be the first to admit that maybe not all of the jokes in Mallrats hold up after all of these years. But we had fun revisiting this infamous 1995 flop-turned-cult favorite and it gave us a chance to recount our own stories of being kicked out of malls in our youth. Plus, as a special treat for our listeners, Matt reads a break-up letter, not unlike the one Brodie receives from Rene in the movie (although, to be fair, Matt's is far more upbeat).

For our 50th episode and 1 year anniversary, we wanted to talk about something special and we couldn't really think of anything better than perhaps the most anticipated film we could remember, Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight. This may have been the last time going to the movies really meant something and we try our best to work our way through it, weaving in our thoughts on Batman Begins and The Dark Knight Rises as well.
Thanks so much for the continued support. This podcast is a blast to do and it's a great feeling to know that some people are out there listening along to our ramblings. This is a big one! Finally, we discuss one of the definitive movies of the Ass Clown generation, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. And trust us, it wasn't easy. You'll definitely want to check this one out!

Hey folks! We're back already and we're trying out something brand new and different for 2017!
Ever since the beginning of this wild ride, there have been topics that Zach and Matt have thought about discussing on the show but didn't think could fill out a full-length episode. So... in order to address that issue we are introducing GIVE US A SECOND - a new series of mini-episodes to compliment the main episodes of The Greatest Moments in the History of Forever!
GIVE US A SECOND will be a random show appearing at random times in the usual Greatest Moments iTunes feed. The main difference from the "regular" show is that the episodes will be significantly shorter. This gives the guys the opportunity to cover a wider range of topics. Don't worry, this is not going to be an every week thing - not even close probably - just a "whenever we feel like it thing."
For episode 1, Zach and Matt discuss seeing Kesha live twice over Summer '16. Both shows were hilarious and awkward and uniquely Greatest Moments appropriate. So, give us a second and let us tell you all about going to Kesha concerts.
Happy New Year! We start 2017 off with something a little different, as Matt takes the big stick for the first time in a while to lead us through a movie that Zach had never seen previously, Bellflower. Explosions, muscle cars, flamethrowers, relationship drama worthy of The Jerry Springer Show and Mad Max 2 fantasies... What more could you ask for in an indie movie?
Hey folks, keep an eye on our iTunes feed this week... wink, wink...
