We close out the year real strong with a Greatest Moments stroll down Nostalgia Alley as we discuss a family blockbuster smash from 1989, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. As usual, we turn the film into something it's not. However, in a shocking turn of events (not really all that shocking, if you've listened to the other episodes), Matt reveals he barely knows what happens in this film, despite watching it a mere days before recording. Then, things take a wild turn as Gremlins is discussed and subsequently bashed, especially by Zach. Sure to be another controversial moment for the show!
Happy New Year everyone and thanks again for listening to the show. We appreciate every single download of our modest total. We hope to continue strong in 2017 and come up with a lot of new ways to discuss our favorite things in pop culture. January will be a big month for the show for sure.

This week, we discuss one of the more notable cult classic films of the past 20 years, Donnie Darko and try to decide if it's reputation as being a Hot Topic emo kid movie is deserved. In true Greatest Moments fashion, the discussion goes all over the place. There is a lot to talk about when it comes to Donnie Darko and we do our best to cover as much as we can. We also discuss the legacy of the film and the effects it may have had on the rest of director Richard Kelly's career. This is a good one that you won't want to miss!

Grab a Pabst Blue Ribbon and join us as we discuss David Lynch's 1986 masterpiece Blue Velvet! Are we headed toward a future full of Franks? Is Sandy a bad person? What about Jeffrey? Are you a man or a beast? There's a lot to talk about with this film and we do our best to get through it.

Hey folks! We're headed to Iowa this week, more specifically, the great city of Cedar Rapids, a place where dreams come true and lives are changed forever! We discuss the similarities between an insurance convention in Iowa and a bachelor party in Las Vegas, the genius of John C. Reilly and the importance of coming out of your shell, one way or another. It's a hilarious movie and we hope to do it justice with our discussion. More people need to see this movie!

For our special Thanksgiving episode, Zach and Matt both fight through illness to discuss a Best Picture winner that actually deserved to win Best Picture - something they both agree rarely happens! Please forgive the coughing and weak voices - Zach was in particularly bad shape during the recording of this episode. However, No Country for Old Men was a movie that needed to be talked about and given the Greatest Moments treatment. Thanks for listening!

We're back and we head to Westeros for what is sure to be the first of several times so that we can talk about HBO's Game of Thrones. Look, we know we're not really covering anything here that hasn't already been discussed by 10 million podcasts and shows and all of your boring Facebook friends... but hey, we've liked this show since day 1 and we wanted to put our own Greatest Moments spin on one of the show's biggest moments. We hope you like it!

The Greatest October in the History of Forever concludes with a trilogy of Canadian werewolf movies that really didn't get a lot of play in the States, aside from us loser nerds who used to frequent the local video rental stores. What else did you expect? We talk about the movies that we want to talk about. Anyway, Ginger Snaps is a smart, sometimes funny, unique take on horror and one of Zach's personal favorites. We discuss the influence it likely had on Diablo Cody's Jennifer's Body script and all the reasons it stood out in a sea of horror mediocrity. We also discuss the less good, but still fun sequel, Ginger Snaps 2: Unleashed and the completely unnecessary and somewhat ridiculous prequel, Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning.
Hey folks, we're back again and this was a fun episode. Continuing with our October horror theme, we discuss 2014's It Follows - a creative, different and inventive modern horror flick. We also put the haters on blast, as usual. We only have one episode left after this one in the Greatest October in the History of Forever, so soak it in!
The Greatest October in the History of Forever rolls on with the "thinking man's" zombie flick, Cemetery Man (also known as Dellamorte Dellamore). It's kind of an obscure, mostly forgotten Italian masterpiece that we highly recommend you check out if you haven't seen it. It's a strange movie that you appreciate more and more every time you watch it. We do our best to navigate our way through this one. We also did our best to make this episode a little shorter than some of the marathons we've been posting. Hope you enjoy it!
