Chief Greg Lange responds to a domestic assault incident in progress near his home - he'd been there many times. There he was ambushed by two brothers who beat and killed him with his own gun before stealing his squad car and heading for Texas. Chief Lange gave his own life to save the life of a young lady and her young child.
