Welcome to our twenty-first episode of Think Like a Champion. We dedicate this podcast to helping us win in every way and enjoy every day. There's nothing more important to consistent growth than realizing that as believers, there are no "if's." With God in our lives, anything can happen. In this week's episode, Pastor Gregory Dickow shows us how to take back control of our emotional health. He reveals how we can successfully navigate through suffering. We can be free from the blame-game mentality. We can refuse to let moments become mindsets. We can refuse to let circumstances dictate what we believe. In Christ, we have bounce-back power to overcome inside of us.
Sometimes we’re in a dry valley, asking, “Why this struggle—why me?“ We can also feel disappointed—even by ourselves—and our hearts are sick because that thing we’re praying for still hasn’t shown up. God’s power and faithfulness are still fully active in the midst of it all. Pastor Grace Dickow tells us why the “valley” is underrated. “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but desire fulfilled is a tree of life.“ (Proverbs 13:12, NASB) It’s in the valley—the dark place—that hope lives. That’s because Jesus shows up there. He’s the only one who can satisfy us. In that dark moment, we can push through! We will see growth and change, and Jesus will be there with us, pulling us through with love.
Favor, grace, kindness, and forgiveness are free. God has purchased them for us. And it is not because we have promised God anything, but because He has promised them to us. Pastor Gregory Dickow shows us that the actual function of Christianity is firmly rooted in God’s character—His kindness, mercy, forgiveness, gentleness, sweetness, and love. The Christianity of the Bible is demonstration after demonstration of God’s love for us and how much we mean to Him. He has always loved us and always will. Expect love, love, and more love!
Welcome to Think Like a Champion, our twentieth podcast dedicated to helping us win in every way and enjoy every day. The Bible tells us Jesus' yoke is easy, and His burden is light. God created us to travel light. We don't have to carry the heavy weight of burdens, pressure, and stress. How can we cut the baggage off of our lives? In this week's episode, Pastor Gregory Dickow unpacks three attitudes that keep us in our past, rob us of our future, and potentially give satan access. We have authority over him. He cannot take advantage of us when we are not ignorant of his schemes. Our God is HUGE. He is ultimately the most loving, creative, and generous Being in the universe. We can choose to leave unforgiveness, unbelief, and unthankfulness behind. When we do, we can rebuild the life of our dreams we desire.
In this powerful message, Pastor Gregory Dickow shares ten things the goodness of God does in our lives. God will restore all that we’ve lost and all that has been missing or stolen. He’s going to bless us and take us into new territory. God will break down every barrier keeping us from a happy, healthy, thriving life. We can expect it because He said it!
Welcome to episode nineteen of, Think Like a Champion. We dedicate this weekly podcast to helping us win in every way and enjoy every day. God created us to enjoy our lives. We are all powerful, valuable, and lovable to Him. How do we experience absolute joy and enforce the victory Jesus already purchased for us? In this week's episode, Pastor Gregory Dickow shows us how to break the power of the comparison trap. When we compare, we despair. It always leads to negativity. God has seated all of us with Christ at the most significant table in the universe. The recipe for happiness and joy is to realize Jesus has leveled the playing field. He has given us all the victory. We have a seat at His table. We give up the comparison trap by knowing who we are and that we belong to Him. Understanding we are seated with Christ at His table is what delivers us all from the comparison trap.
The gates of hell cannot prevail against the cluster. We can stay connected, even with differences, but without division. In this inspiring message, Pastor Gregory Dickow shares what happens when we choose to remain connected—to God and each other. We flourish when we stay planted in the house of God. Regardless of our differences, we can connect to the cluster of God’s people through His passion and promises. People can disappoint us, but when we put our trust in God more than people, we can let go of the weight of expectation we have in people and flourish together. When we remember the true nature of God, we will let go of all fear. We will feel confident that His goodness will turn our tests into testimonies.
Welcome to episode eighteen of our weekly podcast, Think Like a Champion—a podcast dedicated to helping us win in every way and enjoy every day. We are all affected by inflation and challenging times. How can we break through the ceiling and the barriers that limit us and try to hold us back? In this week's episode, Pastor Gregory Dickow unpacks what's holding us back and how we can thrive by trusting God in difficult circumstances. The secret to life is what we believe about ourselves and how we value ourselves. We can refuse to let moments of failure or circumstances dictate our beliefs. God has a purpose and destiny for us. As we embrace these truths, they will infuse us with hope, faith, positive expectation, and assurance that God will abundantly supply!
If life is unfair to us, we can go to Jesus, and He will give us a portion that is unfairly above and beyond. In this message, Pastor Gregory Dickow reminds us of the importance of connectedness. God created us in a community with Him and with each other. Through Jesus, we are united. We may have differences—but without division. Our connectedness to the Father gives us an unfair advantage to live above the conflict of this world. We live victoriously, seated in heavenly places. No matter how much life squeezes us, we have victory when we’re connected!
