Brazil is certainly no stranger to UFO sightings and Extraterrestrial events. In 1996, Varginha, Brazil, became the focal point of a widely reported UFO incident. Multiple witnesses from all walks of life claimed to have seen odd, vaguely humanoid creatures in the area. Amidst the sightings (and smellings), local military personnel were deployed, sparking speculation of a government cover-up. Despite official denials and some conflicting accounts, the 1996 Varginha Incident is one of our favourite UFO stories so far.

Today's case is about a woman on a mission. Miriam Rodríguez Martínez was a mother personally seeking justice for her daughter, Karen after tragically losing her to cartel violence in 2014. She spent years tracking down the gang members responsible for Karen's murder and was ultimately quite successful. So much so that she became a hero in the eyes of many, especially the family members of victims who had met a similar fate.

The last time we saw Roch Theriault and the Ant Hill Kids, things were starting to go downhill, and quick.

Even after Roch was hospitalized he did not lose his power over his followers, in fact he was able to produce a pretty positive public image for a short while.

Roch and other group members were eventually incarcerated and their compound was complete razed by authorities but even this did not slow down the madness and horror. He had them all in his grip and was not letting go.
