This "mash up" blurs the lines between The Comic Shoppe and Afronerd Radio when all parties are present (Daryll B., Capt. Kirk and Dburt) and they dissect all pertinent Pop, Pulp and potentially Political issues (note the alliteration!).  Call the hosts live at 646-915-9620.  The topics to be unpacked this week are: the highly anticipated Batman vs Superman is looking a whole lot like a Justice League film with the announcement that actress/model Gal Gadot has been cast as Wonder Woman; in more Bats vs Supes news, is the WB also considering a more "multi-ethnic" version of the film (a Black Lex Luthor?) as it relates to further casting?; our thoughts about the new Amazing Spiderman 2 trailer; director Bryan Singer affirms that X-Men: Apocalypse will be the next film after DOFP;  the Terminator series returns to TV (not the Sarah Connor Chronicles, unfortunately) as well as the big screen; and speaking of TV, more speculation on Arrow and The Blacklist.

The colloquium continues with more serious fare when the team delves into the passing of South Africa's first Black president and world leader, Nelson Mandela; in popular culture, Fast and Furious actor, Paul Walker also dies; a overdue Blue Area mention;  will the future of Amazon include delivery drones (?) and if time permits, perhaps we'll actually get to talk about that infamous "Sharkeisha" video!
