In this deeply personal episode, I’m sharing something that feels both vulnerable and important—my journey to becoming an animal communicator. What happens to our beloved animals after they transition from their physical bodies? In this episode, we explore this journey from the perspective of the animals themselves—what they have shown and shared about their experience as fully spirit beings.

If you haven’t listened to our last episode on preparing for transition, I recommend starting there, as this is a natural continuation of that conversation. Today, we’ll explore what happens after the transition—the journey through realms, the process of fully crossing over, and what it means when an animal stays in the “in-between” for a time.

We’ll also talk about what animals do once they are in spirit—how they continue to be present with us, how they move between realms, and how they are still evolving and growing just as we are. Many people wonder, Is my animal still with me? Can they see me? Do they know I miss them? In this episode, I’ll share their messages of reassurance, love, and guidance.

Lastly, I’ll share some wisdom from animals in spirit—messages about love, perspective, and the everlasting connection between souls. They remind us that this is not an ending but a transformation, and love is never lost. It simply shifts into a new form.

Saying goodbye to an animal is never easy, bu. their transition is more than just an ending—it’s a deeply personal and sacred journey. In this episode, we explore what the process of a transition can look like.

We’ll talk about how animals let us know they’re ready, how their sense of time differs from ours, and the emotions that can come up as we navigate this journey with them. From the moment of acceptance to the final day, I’ll share what animals have shown about their experience—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—and how we, as their humans, can honour their wishes and needs.

I’ll also discuss the time in between—those days, weeks, or even months when they are preparing, and we are too. What does this phase look like? What signs might they give us? And how can we allow their timeline to unfold with trust, even when it feels difficult?

On the day of transition, we’ll explore ways to bring intention, love, and ceremony into the process. Whether through music, herbs, meaningful rituals, or simply being present, this can be a sacred time for both the animal and their human. We’ll also talk about what happens as they leave their physical body—what they experience, what they want us to know, and how they continue to stay connected after.

For those who have experienced an unexpected or immediate loss, I’ll also touch on how these transitions, while different, still hold space for connection, love, and meaning.

Above all, this episode is a heartfelt guide to walking this path with presence, trust, and love. Our animals don’t see transition the way we do—it’s not a goodbye, but a shift in connection. If we allow it, this journey can be as beautiful as the love we’ve shared with them all along.

In this episode, I’m joined by the amazing Brianna Ferguson of Evergreen Equine Wellness for a deep and important conversation about navigating the non-negotiables in our horses’ lives—things like vet visits, farrier work, deworming, and more. While these are essential for their health and well-being, they aren’t always easy for every horse.

Brianna and I talk about what these experiences can bring up for horses, the importance of identifying the root causes of their struggles, and, most importantly, how we can truly support them in these situations moving forward.
