Ladies and gents, it's time for a drink.

The Growing Season guys, who are of Irish descent dive into the inner workings of the horticultural aspects of St. Patrick's Day.

Soda bread, potatoes, onions, shamrocks and the like are all discussed. 

The McFarlands touch on the Irish famine and the reason their ancestors made their way to Canada.  Its a heavy subject, handled with the respect it deserves.

Don't fear though, the usual Growing Season humour is not forgotten.  Jack, Matt and Lynne play a game involving "Oh Danny Boy" and they chat about the gloriousness of Irish Whiskey - one of the loves of Matt's life.

You'll come away knowing more and smiling doing so.
