The Growing Season

The Growing Season, March 27, 2021 - Celebrating Spring pt. 2

Listen Later

And we continue to SPRING forward into the 2021 growing season (pardon the pun).

Jack, Lynne and Matt McFarland continue their celebration of the beginning of spring and tackle a myriad of topics that are sure to whet your gardening whistles.

Pruning your fruit trees, flowering shrubs and large trees are included in this week's chat.  The proper pruning tools and what to look for when you buy some are also touched on.  Splitting perennials and much more all feature.

Julia Dimakos, The Growing Season's resident veggie Jedi, joins the McFarlands to chat about what she is seeding at this time of year. The quartet have fun, as usual.
