Brad Gerlach is a husband, father, surfer, and founder of Wave Ki Surf Coaching. During Brads professional career he won several major events making him one of surfings biggest stars in the late 80’s and early 90’s. In 1986 at the age of 20, Brad was rated number 1 in the world. In 1991 he finished 2nd on the ASP World Tour after being ranking number 1 in the World that year. At the end of 1991 he left competition to pursue a free-surfing career. In 2006, Brad achieved one of Surfing’s greatest accolades by winning the Billabong XXL award with a massive 68-foot beast of a wave at the notorious Todos Santos, in which he was towed into by none other than the legendary Mike Parsons.
