The HackPack Podcast

Today's guest in the one and only Elouise Eftos!

Australia's first ever attractive comedian is also an actor/dancer/singer/voice over artist/retrosweat instructor/air hostess for @mysteryflightau

We chatted about all of Elouise's above escapades and how we're a pair of good Greek kids. We also got into what Mystery Flight is/isn't.

For tickets to see mystery flight...you'll have to wait because the upcoming shows are SOLD OUT!

Follow @weezasqueeza to find out where you can catch her; MISS YOU!

On this episode I was fortunate enough to interview Ian McCarthy!

Ian is a comic relatively fresh on the Sydney scene; moving here this year following a long stint in Melbourne, having started in his native Canberra.

We chatted about the differing dynamics of these scenes, his early forays into the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and the time he didn't recognise me because I shaved my beard.

Follow @themccarthyian to keep up with the person responsible for my newest marketing tactic for my next show (listen to find out).

Season 4 (!!!!) is here! And in record time - who'd have thunk it!

And who better to kick things off with than Pod favourite, Tommy Bits himself.

Tom and I shot the shite about MCing at weddings, what returning to the comedy scene after lockdown has been like, and of course, his upcoming Laughs Outta Lockdown Festival solo hour, '21st Century Man'.

Make sure you follow @tomwitcombecomedy for some really great content (Tom does a daily mock news segment) and of course to get tickets to his show; you have my personal guarantee that it will be terrific.

The season 3 finale is upon us and what an episode it is!

This interview has been a long time coming; none other than Seizure Kaiser! This man has been a Sydney Comedy Scene mainstay for the better part of 15 years. We chatted about his origins in comedy, his producing and promoting history, and his last comedy festival solo shows.

We also covered the help Seizure gave me when first starting out, and how he has been the most willing and giving to new comics when it comes to opportunities.

Finally, we had a BIG discussion about the current legal dispute he is in over the copyright of Comedy On Edge, his brand, and the unique individual who is trying to take it away from him.

Follow @iamseizure and @comedyonedge to keep up with Seizure, and enjoy the episode!

On this episode I had the pleasure of interviewing my fried, Jake Howie!

Jake is a New Zealand born, formerly London based comic now calling Sydney his home. We chatted about making that transition, doing an Edenborough Fringe debut unprepared, and having awkward energy with other comics at gigs.

We also delved into Jake's upcoming 'Laughs Outta Lockdown' show, the aptly titled 'Cult Fiction', which is at the Factory Theatre on 18-20 of November.

Jake (like me) will be touring his show next year, but check out his new hour coming up at this festival! Follow @jakehowie_ and get your tickets!

This was one of my favourite episodes to record yet! Our guest is Oliver Twist; we spoke about Oliver's (frankly, unmatched) comedy origin story, the success of his recent show Jali, and having a nucleus of comedians you respect and whose sets you make sure to catch.

We also chatted about both of our upcoming Melbourne International Comedy Festival debuts and how we're going in armed and ready for reviewers!

Follow Oli at @oliveretwist and make sure to catch his shows, they are well worth your time.

We are BACK baby! The HackPack Podcast has returned with a vengeance and what an episode we're serving up for you all to mark the grand return!

Today's guest is Lauren Bonner. I had a great chat with Lauren about foot in mouth moments, shitty reviewers, and engaging idiots in the comments section.

We also spoke about Lauren's upcoming show at the Laughs Outta Lockdown Festival (December) 'What Do You Reckon'.

Follow Lauren at @laurenybonner and listen to her and former guest Concetta's podcast, Big Natural Talents!

Sydney is in lockdown so I can't have my friends over - THEREFORE, today's guest is me!

I basically just chatted to myself about my year so far, my new podcast (check out the Kevin Lasagna Appreciation Podcast) and my new stand-up special ('Confirmation' on my YouTube channel now!) and chatted shit about TikTok.

Today's guest is Will Gibb!

We chatted about sketch comedy, the pitfalls of tiktok fame, rowdy audiences and why people in comedy shouldn't complain! Enjoy!

Today's episode is with the wonderful Ben Kochan!

Ben and I chatted about starting comedy young, incorporating props into your hour show, his recent Melbourne Comedy Festival debut, and plenty more!
