Boo to You, Happy Platers!

Recently,  Disney marked a halfway point on April 28th and it is just crazy to think about…we are Halfway to Halloween! Plus, they also announced that Walt Disney World's Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and the Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party, an after-hours event at Disney California Adventure Park will be returning on select nights in fall 2022.  And we know it is never too early for Disney Parks to get in the spirit! We talk about some of the fun treats Disney had for a few select days and also just what is in store for the Halloween parties this year.

Welcome Happy Platers!

During the recording of our 100th episode, we heard from many of you that your favorite episodes were the Disney Dining for $50.00 a day.  This is where we ate a snack, QS, and TS and keep our total under $50.00.  Well, we took this challenge up a notch by trying to eat at a Disney Park for a family of four for under $100. We kicked this series off on episode #135 with Magic Kingdom and for today’s show, we will eat in Epcot during a non-festival time.  Here are the parameters: Family of four – two adults and 2 children, 3 meals, meal sharing is allowed, and we can’t forget the tax of 6.5%. So off to Epcot, we go, and let’s see how we do!

Hello Happy Platers!

One of the questions we get asked constantly as travel advisors is, “When is the dining plan coming back?”  We wish we could ask Madame Leota to look into her crystal ball and tell us because we have absolutely no idea.  If we could wave our magic wands and bring it back, we would, and on today’s show that is exactly what we are going to do.  Let’s say the dining plan is back and all the people rejoice…but what would we do to add some extra pixie dust and make it even better?  Let’s find out!

Welcome to the table, Happy Platers!

In Walt Disney World Parks & Resorts the contribution of women to the company is celebrated as well.  Last year on the podcast we also “celebrated HER Story” with a show and thought it would be great to make this a tradition.  This year we are going to create a Disney Dining Experience for one real and one fictional Disney woman. Planning a meal that we think would encapsulate their passion for Disney and of course their unique personality traits!
