Welcome Happy Platers!

We have discussed many times on this show some of our favorite restaurants in Walt Disney World and some tricks on how to grab that coveted reservation. But what do you do when you don’t have any luck? Don’t worry we are putting on our super suit and are going to share our secret dining superpower.

Bright Suns Happy Platers!

Well, you must have been under a rock on the planet Endor if you haven’t heard about the launching of the Star Wars – Galactic Starcruiser! The first flight took place on March 1st with lots of fanfare.  Unfortunately, the three of us were not able to make this voyage but we thought we should at least talk about some of the food that was being served onboard.  As stated by Disney you will be able to “Sample an expertly curated menu of the most delicious dishes from across the galaxy, while engaging in unique experiences that continue your Star Wars story during your 2-night adventure on Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser! Spring is almost here and you know what that means … the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival! With flavors in full bloom and dishes waiting to be cultivated from March 2 through July 4, this year’s celebration is not one to be missed.

Welcome to the table Happy Platers!

During the recording of our 100th episode, we heard from many of you that your favorite episodes were the Disney Dining for $50.00 a day.  This is where we ate a snack, QS, and TS and keep our total under $50.00.  Well, a new gauntlet has been thrown down by Happy Plater, Kerry Holthe, to try and eat at a Disney Park for a family of four for under $100. Challenge accepted!  Here are the parameters: Family of four – two adults and 2 children, 3 meals, meal sharing is allowed, and we can’t forget the tax of 6.5%. So off to Magic Kingdom we go and let’s see how we do!

Any guesses on which one of us went over budget?

Welcome to the table Happy Platers!

On the menu for today’s show are some of the delicious eats and treats we were able to experience at Disney’s International Festival of the Arts.  This EPCOT Festival made its debut in 2017 and took place on weekends from January to February. It was so well received that it has expanded to running every day and continues to celebrate these three artistic disciplines: Culinary, Visual, and Performing Arts.

Welcome Happy Platers!

Today we will have a show full of Big Bucks, no whammies; Ryan, I’d like to buy a vowel; Wendi Corn, come on down all to see if the real Disney dining expert will stand up while the others will just be the weakest link.  Also, no phoning friends allowed! This is the first episode of Disney Dining Quest. Each one of us will list off menu items from a random Disney restaurant and see if the others can guess where this item is located.  There are no grand prizes just the title of “WINNER”.  Let the game begin!
