Hey Howdy Hey, Happy Platers!


Queue the singing! Can you believe that at the time of recording Christmas is only 8 weeks away…SO  Season’s Greetings! SERIOUSLY? We haven’t even gone trick or treating. But in Disney style they have released a Foodie guide for the holidays…(I mean there are Christmas decorations up in Hollywood Studios)

We are kicking off with the Foodie Guide to all the yummy holiday sips and bites offered in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom Park, and Disney Springs to get you in the holiday spirit. We did not forget about Epcot that park gets its own foodie guide for the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.

On today’s show, part 1 of 2, the table is set for four because we are joined by a very special guest, Len Testa!  Len is the co-author of The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World, The Unofficial Guide to Disneyland.  He is also responsible for these things called "Touring Plans" which were the result of his graduate thesis, and he is the lead researcher for TouringPlans.com and book content. And when he's not doing that, he's one of the co-hosts of the Disney Dish podcast along with Jim Hill.

Wendi and I are very happy to welcome two special people today…our awesome husbands, Dane and Robby!  These two are the best for us, giving us a lot of encouragement in our love of Disney and free rein to visit the parks.  Often times tagging along without grumbling and they are always happy to be our pack mules and carry our backpacks.  We ask them to give us some of their favorite meals and treats that they look forward to when traveling to Walt Disney World and Disneyland!
