This week we explored what it means to grow up spiritually. Peter gives us some practical advice in 1 Peter 2:1-3 on what it means to put away evil things and grow up as a mature Christian who follows God.

We all know how important it is not to lie - this is a command given to us by our parents from an early age. We often attempt to obey by not stating a lie, but we can commit the same sin by omitting truths that need to be shared: lies of omission. In the same way, we can sin by doing things God has told us not to do, and we can sin by not doing things God has told us TO do.

This week Daniel was out of town, so Elliott took over. Elliott brought up a an issue that is very important to God: taking care of the poor and the marginalized. This is a command to all who follow God, no matter what they have or how much.

Continuing our series answering the question "What do you want on your tombstone?", we looked at Jesus as an example for how to please God. On the night before he was betrayed, Jesus lowered himself to the lowest position in order to serve his brothers. In this way, he pleased God; by this example, we too can learn how to please God.

We started a new series answering the question "What do you want on your tombstone?". More specficially, what do you want people to say about you when you die? To better help us answer this question, we looked at Enoch, who was known as a man who pleased God. By his example, we too can learn how to be known as people who please God.

He is risen! Today is Easter Sunday and the day we celebrate the Resurrection of Christ. Its is one of the most important events in the Christian faith. Daniel spoke with us about the events that happened on that day, in particular, Mary Magdalene.
