This Sunday we covered the section of the Apostle's Creed that states who Jesus is and what he did on earth. Daniel taught us about the significance of each statement about Jesus and how those things prove his existence as the Son of God.

This weeks section of the Apostle's Creed is, "Jesus Christ His only son our Lord." This line is one of the most important parts of this creed that can sometimes become weakened by it commonality. Daniel teaches us how foundational this common phrase is for believers and how it separates us from the world and other beliefs.

We are on the second part of our series on the Apostles Creed. This week is about, "maker of heaven and earth." Daniel teaches us how this statement should impact and influence our lives knowing the implications and power of this truth.

We have officially started a new sermon series on the apostles creed. Typically, people recite the apostles creed without putting much thought to what it says or means. So, Daniel is breaking down each section of the creed to teach us the importance and it has in our lives.

Today is a sad day because it is the last service for our dear German friend Jannis. Jannis has been living in the U.S. for the last nine months helping with the responsibilities at the church and store. So this Sunday, Daniel interviewed him to find out about his experience in the States and what God has taught him during his time at the Westside Harvest Community Church.

This Sunday was the final sermon to wrap up our series on discipleship. Daniel teaches us that the third part in our lives as disciples is encouraging others to do what we are doing.

We are now in part two of our discipleship series shaping us into contagious believers. The first step into being a disciple is being convicted of our sin and the damage it causes in our lives, and making steps to move away from our old sinful nature. This means being active to protect ourselves in the big and small decisions of our day.

We have finished part 1 of our church's 3 part vision for this year. As a church we have committed to being contagious, being rooted in prayer, living as a disciple and discipling others, and speaking words of love and encouragement to one another. We finished prayer and are now moving on to part 2, discipleship. This Sunday Daniel defined for us what discipleship is for us personally and for our relationship wit other believers.
