The movie thing is a gimmick.  I just wand to trick strangers who search for movies like Luis Bunuel's The Exterminating Angel.  I want them to hear me read stories about my life with Greg and those years in the war.  Maybe there's some connection.  Eddy Avilles is ACTUALLY very funny.  This episode is ACTUALLY very funny.  The whole thing.  I write about how much I love my mom and why.  

Comedy, catching up, figuring out the sound, and starting the episode wrong with a re-contextualized segment from the interview with Jamal Rahal and Connor Stitt.  That part's only four minutes long.  Then Bob does one of his ponderous and reference-laden readings for a few minutes before there's a long, funny, deeply serious interview with Eric Green.  They talk about the bitter end of the Trump Era and how we all got here.  The episode ends with a shorter, more deliberately comedic segment featuring Drew Hollway and Jesse James Gettings.  

Bob and Molly talk about the television show Frasier.  Bob hates it.  Molly loves it.  They go on and on as riots disrupt the congressional counting of electoral college votes.  Bob and Molly talk about that and the fact that both of them have worked in restaurants.  Bob reads some diary scribbles from 2018.  Molly returns to record more podcast talk about growing up bad and being called "so and so."  They both liked the movie The Night of the Hunter, with Robert Mitchum.  They can't remember the name of the movie Undertow, which is a lot like The Night of the Hunter.  

Eddy and Bob hang out listening to country and western, rhythm and blues, party and dance music during their chat about love and passion, forgiveness and healing.  Then it's a reading called PARTLY GOOD, CHANCE OF BAD.  Afterward, Douglas Haseman and Blayne Arnold join Bob to joke about this stuff and that thing.  The sound quality on their portion of the show isn't great, but the content is pretty funny?  Could be.  To be determined.  To be continued.

This is a much more normal one.  If that last one was way too "out there" for you, then check out this one.  We fixed the sound issues and had a conspiratorial conversation about politics.  MF Doom died?  Or did he?  Happy New Year!  

This was a confusing episode with a lot of time spent figuring out what everyone was talking about and how it was funny.  The things we experienced weren't exactly the things we all felt at the time.  There is an incredible balance of chaos and order, communication and the opposite of that.  Mostly it is funny because this was well recorded and stupid etc. for shit with great guests and important moments about politics in these times.  Some of which (Which Which)(Sandwiches) is actually important and I (Bob Morrissey) am proud.  Proud of the fact that I am sharing these funny voices: Jamal Rahal and Connor Stitt.  

Merry Christmas!  Christmas is over, and Bob reads a few things before Eddie "Spready Eddie" "Just Eddie" Aviles joins the podcast to discuss COMEDY HUB HOUSTON and his rotten idea of what jokes should be.  TRIGGER WARNING: Eddie drops a few "f-bombs."  Also there's another reading with a quote from Margaret Atwood and a couple of other reply guys (Douglas Haseman and Blayne Arnold) talking near the end.  

Scotty and Bob start the episode with some talk about what happens when it's "the one," or "when it's love."  It's just something you feel together, something that lasts forever, when it's love.  Bob reads two different diary entries from two different years, and then chit chat resumes as Alex Ditch and Joe Esquivel rejoin the podcast to live and laugh again at The Healing Club.  

Bob reads a very old diary from when he was nineteen and useless and applying to college.  Then there's that dumb ad and subsequently a manic, chatty, nuanced, interesting and delightful Christmas conversation with Greg Deal and Emily Peacock.  Great friends having fun.  Happy Holidays!
