Bob messes around with the microphones alone in his apartment for a while, but then Scotty Peterson is there to share real wisdom and insight through jokes and song parodies.  He says Bob looks like Jeff Daniels on the toilet in the movie Dumb and Dumber when he wears that shirt.  The interview stops after that, but then Bob does a reading before Steve Cantwell arrives to describe some visionary drug experiences.  Bob and Steve disagree about whether the singularity is near.  It's funny and entertaining!  

it's an impersonal banter fest with Bob and two other self-conscious funny people: Joe Esquivel and Alex Ditch.  Suddenly it's Bob's political thoughts from 2010.  Everyone's obsessed about the health care initiative.  Obamacare?  Maybe that'll work.  Then Warren Wright stops in for a deeply personal heart to heart talk about life and love and being human in these terrible times.  

Bob opens up the beginning of the episode with some private thoughts about fidelity, death, climate change, the future of democracy and the fact that he and his brother went to wars in different places for the U.S. Army.  Then it's a fun rock and roll segment with Ryan McGhee.  They list all the worst songs to have sex to and all the best kinds of laughs.  Then Tim Williams and Grady Pruitt share some lively, free-wheeling conversation about church and prank phone calls and the movie Jackass.  

Bob reads from the 2019 book of Bob.  Greg Deal is the man Bob lived with as a gay common law Texas husband for ten years.  They have a history.  Is it ongoing?  Hmm...  Chris Oddo talks about his artistic influences and current practices.  It is his birthday.  They all go out drinking together afterward.  

Bob reads some meandering joke notes from the sketchbook he used to carry around in 2015, and then David LeJeune stops by to read a poem.  Drew Hollway returns to talk about things like his family's political differences and the childhood origins of his hilarious comedy-humor.  Angel Trevino pops in to describe a film he's working on.  It's a little all over the place.  

Bob reads some pastiche diary entries that make no sense and don't sound good.  Grace Kirk stops by and they get really personal about religion, politics, love and death.  It's a hoot!  Once again, this has something to do with movies and life on the margins of success.  Nothing matters.  Go home.    

Diary entry and joke journal from 2017 plus a very candid interview with one. of the founders of the Secret Group, Andrew Youngblood.  Bob and Andrew reminisce and bond in a wonderful way.  There is humor and humanity in their stories about comedy shows and open mics in Houston through the years.  Owning a business and being a father is tough for Andrew during this awful pandemic.  No one knows who will win the election.

It starts with a very deliberately strange diary entry from 2015 and moves to an onslaught of political fretting and overshare.  Artist Emily Peacock at one point says "I'm in my problems, so they seem very significant."  Bob Morrissey (me) admits that he, too, spent time in psychiatric hospital care (both in high school and after his time served in the military during the beginning of the 2003 occupation of Iraq).  Comedy bleeds everywhere.  

Joe Esquivel starts the episode on a note of boredom and affected sarcasm, but Bob saves everything by yelling at him.  Things change when Molly Brown is the guest.  They sing together and she tries to be hateful.  Nick Palermo replaces her as the guest on the show.  We talk together about the upcoming presidential election.  I confront Nick about his standup comedy show FILTH at Rudyard's twice a month on Fridays.  It is very bad.

Angel Trevino and Bob Morrissey talk about the short films Angel makes.  Also Bob has a Grindr date but he gets stood up.  Suddenly Justin Massengale is the guest and it's election day.  There is a mood of giddiness and fear.  This is the funniest this podcast will get, but at the same time there is no healing and nothing is solved or managed.  All problems are the same, but it's mostly a good time.
