This week, I’m happy to welcome Amanda Furbee into The Healing Home. Amanda is an herbalist, savvy business woman and owner of The Herb Shoppe in Portland, OR. She is also in charge of the Herb Shoppe’s non-profit herbal clinic. She along with other herbal practitioners offer affordable herbal consultations to the community and “mutual aid to help empower people and long term support for recovery.”  

I met Amanda back in 2013 while working as and Intern at the Herb Shoppe. Amanda took me under her wing and helped me gain confidence as an intern. She then took on the responsibility to open a second location of The Herb Shoppe, which she till owns today.

This week, I’m excited to welcome Mary and Sahra Henlin into the Healing Home to discuss Mother Mary, their relationship with her, how she’s played an important role in both of their lives and their most recent Instagram project together, 100 Days of Mary.
