How do you react when you hear something you completely disagree with? We have all been guilty of becoming arrogant and critical, instead of trying to understand why someone would think that way. When someone who is highly intelligent is also arrogant and argues when an idea clashes with the way they think, the grand result is an ignorant person. Rather, open your mind and allow opposing ideas to flex your brain muscles, some will be uncomfortable but that means you are growing. You do not have to agree with new ideas, but work to understand them and look at it as a new way of looking at a problem you thought you had already solved.
