In February I will be reading through Mark Batterson's book, Win the Day. I read through this book during the covid pandemic and found the habits he talks about very helpful. On this episode I give an overview of the book and how I hope it can help each of us grow this year.
At the start of a new year, we often do a great job of getting into newer, better habits. What happens when a schedule change or a trip gets us out of our routine and threatens to end our streak? How do we start thinking ahead and planning to overcome these obstacles to keep on track and reach out goals?
A New Year often brings new goals and new habits. However, we often get in the way of our own progress by thinking we are missing one last "tool" that will help us achieve our goals. Whether you think you need another book, another productivity app, or another fitness gadget the time has come to set that thought aside and get going with your plan. You don't need another tool. You've got enough tools!

On this episode, I look back on my recent comedy show and review what I liked about it. I also talk about the itch to write new jokes and do another show. This has been an experience that has really fired me up and we all have to decide if we are going to make progress or make excuses. The choice is yours, but I'm going to start writing new jokes!

On this episode, I share some resources that have helped me remain joyful through difficult times.
