Parents are often intimidated by the prospect of teaching science and math, so they tend to think that they can’t home educate those older years of schooling. My friend Lesley Rester of stemtrainingcamp.com is going to debunk that myth. We need to reclaim the science and math industry by teaching it with a Biblical Worldview and launching those students into the world. It can be done at home, whether you’re homeschooling or looking for summer activities for your kids! **Find more at HeidiStJohn.com**
Today we’re tackling reader submitted questions on the podcast about family pressures in current times, homeschooling, home discipleship, and more. Tune in friends — I hope you’re encouraged! **Find more at HeidiStJohn.com**
Do you ever look in the mirror and hate what you see? Have the opinions of others stolen your worth? Are there hidden hurts in your heart that say "I'll never measure up?" Jennifer Strickland knows all too well how you feel. Fifteen years in the beauty business left her broken, ashamed, and grappling for her value. Feeling like she could never measure up to the impossible standards placed on her, she sought affirmation from men, mirrors, and the media -- hoping that if she could just be good enough in their eyes, she would be accepted. This is the newest study at MomStrong International! Sign up and study with us in July, August, and September. Jennifer will be our guest teacher. Don’t miss it! **Find more at HeidiStJohn.com**

The apostle Paul wrote, “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen” (Ephesians 4:29). In this passage, Paul is emphasizing the positive over the negative. The Greek word translated “unwholesome” means “rotten” or “foul.” It originally referred to rotten fruit and vegetables. What do your words say about you? Are you speaking the truth in love? **Find more at HeidiStJohn.com**
It’s a courageous thing for a believer to give himself to a sovereign God. When we do this, what we are really saying is, “God, I trust You.” Through years of heartache and suffering, Job was reminded of God’s promise that at the end, all will be made right. God can be trusted. Following his example, can we also say, “Lord, maybe for the first time, I honestly can say, ‘I give myself to You as never before.’” **Find more at HeidiStJohn.com**
The Illinois Department of Education is threatening to take away accreditation if the schools don’t enforce mask mandates, a student halfway through his MBA program being forced to get a vaccine that he doesn't want, and a physician is ridiculed for not going along with the “science” behind the Rona. These are trying times—but good things are happening. Listen and be encouraged! **Find more at HeidiStJohn.com**
Would a majority of millennials choose socialism if in exchange for “free” education and “free” health care, they would have to give up their personal property such as their iPhone and their iPad? Probably not—and yet, this is not simply a possibility--the abolition of private property is the first dictum of socialism. We must make the case against socialism now. The hour is late. Join me today as I talk with historian and author Linda Hobar about this important topic. **Find more at HeidiStJohn.com**
It’s time. It’s past time, really, to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth about socialism. We must educate the rising generation about the true costs of socialism, and not just in dollars and cents. The spiritual implications of a nation on the brink of accepting the lie of socialism are staggering. **Find more at HeidiStJohn.com**
In today’s spiritually polarized culture, many Christians have forgotten that the God we serve is the God who created the Universe! Because we are loved and known by our Creator-God, we can have hope in the midst of any fearful situation. **Find more at HeidiStJohn.com**
