Do you ever struggle with the feeling that you’re not good enough to homeschool? Me too! I’m blessed today to introduce you to a new friend here at the podcast. Jamie Erickson is a mother of five and will encourage you to homeschool with confidence and courage as you follow God’s voice into new seasons of mothering and homeschooling. Be brave! God’s got you—and your kids—in His hands.
How do we handle it when things are difficult and we want to be locked in a room with just a box of kleenex and ice cream? Arm yourself with preparatory measures–extra time in the scriptures, prayer partners, breaks–and prepare yourself for battle! God has specially chosen you to raise your world-changer—but that means you’ll need to be strong in the Lord. Join me today for a lesson from God’s Word in Christ-honoring courage!
The world would have us believe that truth is flexible and open to interpretation. We know the Bible tells us otherwise, and as we raise our kids, this is one of the most important concepts to teach. This requires getting #offthebench and fighting for the truth of the Word of God to be upheld in the public square. Rise up!
God calls us to be intentional about our instruction of His commandments, talking of them when we sit in our homes, when we are out and about, at the close of our todays and the beginning of our tomorrows. For many of us, this can feel a bit overwhelming. How many Bible lessons can one mom possibly come up with?! Listen in an be encouraged as I walk through week two of our study on how to leave a legacy of blessing.
“What is it like to be homeschooled through high school?” This is a question my kids get a lot, and today on “Meet My Friend Friday,” I’m going to introduce you to one of my favorite people on the planet, my son, Spencer! Spencer and I will be talking about the ups and downs of homeschooling, and talking candidly about his experiences ahead of his June 8th graduation from our homeschool. Join me for this very special edition of the podcast.
How will your kids remember you? As it turns out, the seeds you are sowing right now are important. They’re the building blocks for your legacy. This month at MomStrong International, we’ll be talking about God’s heart for you in the legacy that you leave. It’s more important than you may realize, and more powerful than you may ever comprehend.
Have you ever struggled to talk about hard things with your kids? You’re not alone! Join me as I answer questions from listeners for “Mailbox Monday,” one of my favorite days of the week at the podcast.
“WHY, MOM?” Have your kids ever challenged your authority? Turns out they’re not so unlike the Israelite’s! This week, I’ll be focusing on the last week of our study on God’s love for us which, mercifully, includes discipline. Learn how you can follow God’s example with your own children as you train them up to walk with God.
“Do not be terrified of them, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” These are God’s Words to His people—and yet, we are struggling to walk in them today. So what does it look like to be “strong and courageous?” Today, we’ll take a look at courage through the lens of Scripture. Listen in and be encouraged!
