Every day, Christians around the world are arrested and tortured for their faith in Jesus Christ. Today, I am joined by Todd Nettleton, Chief of Media Relations and Message Integration for The Voice of the Martyrs, and host of The Voice of the Martyrs Radio. Todd serves as a voice for persecuted Christians, inspiring US Christians with the faithfulness of Christ’s followers in 70+ nations where they face persecution for wearing His name. Join us today as we talk about the power of prayer and the influence of faith across all cultures.

My fiancé of 10 years doesn’t want me going to church. What should I do? | My heart is breaking for my prodigal adult child. How do I keep my head up and focus on my husband and children here at home? | How do I deal with Mom guilt when I fail? | Bethel Church: what are your concerns?
Show Notes:
We are seeing a mass exodus of young adults from the faith, and 70% of students don’t believe in absolute truth. This trend is accelerating rapidly, and we absolutely must stop the train. It’s a matter of eternal significance for children all over the globe. My friend Dave Richardson is here today to talk about the way he teaches students to recognize the assumptions they have, and how to look past them so they will make Biblical choices. It’s an incredibly effective tool, and I’m excited to share it with you today.
Show Notes:
I think all parents approach the empty nesting years with mixed emotions, but don’t realize how much we are in control of how they go. What if the kids don’t want to come to holiday dinners? Why don’t they call me back? Where do I fit in now? Let’s talk about what that can look like when we transition well. We can thrive as empty nesters and become great friends with our kids!
Show Notes:
What is it about the holidays that make parents passive/aggressive? Could it be change? :) Change is inevitable in the parent-child relationship, but it doesn't have to be unbearable. Let's talk about how we can interact with our adult children in a way that's life-giving to both parent and child. I think you'll be encouraged!
Show Notes:
War in the Middle East, cultural arguments, healthcare tensions, financial troubles stemming from political decisions... all of the above are like a wet blanket we are wearing. The world needs some hope, friends. But if we don't have our own hearts and minds in the right place, we forget that we are the bearers of that hope and peace, and it's our job to share it! Join me today, and let's talk about the Light we carry in this dark world.

We don’t have to look far to realize how lacking we are in critical thinking as a culture, as the pandemic shone the light brightly on this fact. But there is a reason for it, and you need to know so you can fill in the gap with your children.
Join me with Kathy Gibbens and let’s talk about how we can teach our kids to think critically and notice logical fallacies they will encounter on a daily basis. This is a game changer, parents!
