Hey Kids Comics GETS PIERCED!!! Special guest Tony Andrews talks about the awesome and amazing history of Canadian Whites. A rich and brilliant part of Canadian comic book history. Hey, how come they are not called Canadian BLACK and Whites? Sam and Daniel go through GREAT lengths at auction to over pay on a coffee and Bengay stained copy of some comic about some kid and his dead girlfriend. Dan in the meantime catches a few Zzz’s onair while Chris and Marty are MIA in Toy Show Hell. And for the record, neither Len Wein nor Roy Thomas are Canadian, just sayin’ …

Sometimes … the world has a way of reminding us that not all villains wear purple suits and white clown make-up. Mr. O’Neil and Mr. Adams saw that, so many years ago and we at The Hey Kids Comics Radio Show know this to be true as well. This episode was recorded prior to Mr. George Floyd’s death and as such, we don’t directly address the issue during the show.

During our Covid-19 quarantine, we thought this would be a great opportunity to revisit one of our favourite episodes. Dixon’s Books … a Peterborough institution since 1979. Comic shop to many of us through the years. The lads chat about the then-recent closing of our Local Comic Shop and reminisce about their fond memories.

As the Covid-19 shutdown continues we present this CLASSIC episode where Marty FINALLY shows up and proceeds to rant his (and Chris’) Star Wars underwear right off! Dan gets some Captain Canuck 9.8 goodness. Gilpin STILL doesn’t have the S.H.E.I.L.D. #9 Adams variant and Bill Finger stops getting the finger.

Angry Dan goes RED … between all the talk about Doctor Who and Grant Morrison, Dan is out for blood! And poor Adam is in his sights! Chris Gilpins can only sit helplessly and watch the rage flow! Sorta, kinda, not really? Either way, Marty is hoping Tony White will be somewhat appeased that this episode was uploaded within a day!
