Hustle! This word has become common tongue in our culture. We’ve become a society obsessed with being busy. Why is there a need to always be so busy? What’s the reason? What is the cause? Is all this “busyness” necessary? Is it tearing our lives apart? Is hustle purposeful to progress?

  • 621 Book Reflection – Siddhartha By Hermann Hesse
621 Book Reflection - Siddhartha By Hermann Hesse

Siddhartha, a story of the first Buddha, told by Hermann Hesse and still considered one of his most famous works to date. To write this book, apparently, Hesse, born in Germany in 1877, immersed himself in both Hindu and Buddhist scriptures. Mystified by Eastern religion and spirituality Hermann was keen to explore the life of Siddhartha and to do so found himself walking the path of the enlightened one.

The life of Siddhartha is a journey of self-discovery. Split by the dualities of this existence, pleasure and pain, it can often be challenging to create understanding and find meaning. Siddhartha was said to have found the middle path, a life without attachment to either pleasure or pain but rather a deep spiritual state characterised by peace and harmony.

This is a brilliant and captivating story that shares a great deal of wisdom. Check it out!

  • 615 Questions by Leigh Martinuzzi
    615 Questions by Leigh Martinuzzi

"I am just a child who has never grown up. I still keep asking these 'how' and 'why' questions. Occasionally, I find an answer." Stephen Hawking

To ask questions is to live with an inquisitive, curious and progressive mind. Questions have the power to enhance the quality of our life. We need to encourage each other to ask more. All questions lead to answers, and all responses have a purpose. Needless to say, no question is a wrong question, the only unfortunate question is one never asked.

Define success as to how it best suits the life you wish to live. To reach that level of success, as it is important to you, ask questions! Questions are the best form of self-enquiry. In reflection to the answers we seek, we can gain better clarity, self-awareness and control of the mind. And I believe that is the path to enlightenment.
