Welcome to another week of The Hidden Workforce! In this week's episode, we hear briefly from a worker in the hidden workforce, Juan, who lost his sight from disease. Juan runs a successful carpet installation company with his brother and shows us that no matter what lemons life throws at you- you can make the sweetest lemonade!

This segues perfectly into part 2 of our interview with Julie and Debbie from Oklahoma's Department of Rehabilitation Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired. They take us through their process of printing Braille through a Braille Embosser as well as the amazing technology available for people who live with visual impairments.

Next, we head to Duncan, Oklahoma in Adventures with Alex! In this week's feature, Alex introduces us to Film Director David West. David chats with us about his film projects, what it's like to be a director and Alex... A star in one of his most recent films! Tune in to find out more!

Then we wrap up at Lisa's favorite exhibit at the Tulsa Zoo- when she isn't working with a client in their job there, she's with the Snowy Owl!

We're all anticipating the grand opening of the new Oilers ice center opening in a few weeks and can't wait to see the family, friends, teams, and communities that come together to enjoy the space!

Then Alex takes us to Edmond on Adventures with Alex this week where we hear from Sarah Lauffenburger! Sarah is an accomplished editor for filmmaking and other content projects having started and ran her own business in that focus. She was hired through Autism Oklahoma and has enjoyed taking on the legacy of her mentor in teaching and becoming a mentor to the members of Invisible Layers Productions.

Then, we venture to Duncan, Oklahoma in Adventures with Alex! Alex chats with Michael Harris, a director from the show he was in called, "Home for the Holidays" with Duncan Little Theater. Michael has directed plays and shows for music videos, television, and other film projects in Nashville. He served as executive director of Oklahoma City's Omniplex formerly known as the Kirkpatrick Center, and eventually, his talents brought him to Duncan.
