Welcome, listeners! Join me, Lisa Toth, as we venture through the Hidden Workforce, a show about the positive impact people who live with different abilities bring to the workforce and our world.
Buckle up listeners, we have a jam packed show full of amazing guests today!
To kick off our show, Alex takes us to The Chisholm Trail Center in Duncan, Oklahoma where we meet Edie Stewart. Edie shares with us pieces of Native American History and information about the Chisholm Trail Center.
Then Lisa takes us into an interview with Stacie Fuentes, Founder and President of Family Work Space. A Nonprofit that serves families that homeschool, foster, and host international students.
Next we'll hear part of Ben Woodson's song about the struggles he has faced living with a disability as well as encouragement and advice to empower listeners that live with a disability like himself. He calls his song, "I never knew what freedom was until I learned what prison means."
And last but certainly not least we have Mr. Bill Griggs where we learn all about what a SCORE mentor is and why you should become a member!
