The High Ground

The O'Connell's are back to fight a mummy - and the Diebold-Moorhouses are back to fight about whether it was good! However, things have really changed up for this entry in the franchise - not only have we got a brand new mummy from a brand new country, but also a completely new outlook from our hosts! In one of the largest and most intense disagreements in their podcasting history, listen with shock and appal as we discover that Reuben enjoyed this movie as much as Elliot and Georgia hated it.

Elliot and Georgia take a step into the past to revisit another of their childhood treasures, and Reuben comes along to ensure his investment too, as The High Ground takes a look at the 1999 (aka only good) iteration of The Mummy.

We're still not sure how or why this happened, but Georgia, Elliot, and Reuben are joined by Reuben's girlfriend Penny as the squad all go and watch a Star Wars Burlesque parody. There's Booba Fett, there's dancing and there's... fun? Listen for the details!

NOTE: This was our first experience recording as a group and as such the audio quality isn't the highest. The episode is still listenable, but apologies for it not reaching as high a standard as we usually aim for!

A cool cat saves some kids. Georgia, Elliot and Reuben finish up the Shrek franchise by diving into the delightfully fresh spin off about a character who is, if you can believe it, a cat.
