  • 51: Asking for help
Join me this week as we deep dive into 3 of the main ways our high sensitivity trait holds us back from asking for help when we need it the most.

We cover three of the main ways your high sensitivity and its characteristics will prevent you, in a subtle way or in a not so subtle way, to reach out and ask for help when this help is critical to your wellbeing and performance as a highly sensitive leader and professional.

I show you how wanting to remain autonomous and resourceful, being afraid of being perceived as less valuable, and being paralysed by overwhelm will keep you stuck in your default “I can figure this out by myself” mode. I share valuable insights and personal experience on this topic, as well as examples of my clients’ challenges with asking for help and how we overcome them.

I teach you some of the solutions and approaches which will serve you as highly sensitive leaders and which can only be found if you go into deeper conversations and relax into asking for the help you need.

  • 50: Coming Home with Teresa Wilson
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to be able to “Come home” to our highly sensitive self every single day, just like we would sit on our most comfortable armchair and put your feet up with a cup of tea? Well, thanks to my wonderful guest PCC Transformational coach and parts/shadow work expert Teresa Wilson, we are one step closer to doing just that.

Join us this week for a truly insightful conversation right at the crossroad between being highly sensitive in the world and embracing our HSP trait with full acceptance.

Teresa and I discuss how shadow and parts work can help us reconnect with the sensitive parts of ourselves we have had to hide or ignore due to social programming.

Teresa shows us how her practice allows us to embrace our sensitive trait and view it as an asset, especially when it turns up uninvited or comes back after years of being brushed under the carpet to please others or conform.

She shares practical tips which you can start using today to move out of your comfort zone, be more self-confident and ultimately change the stories we sometimes tell ourselves about the things we can’t do (Be a leader!).

We also discuss how parts work offer a playground for highly sensitives to relax, find lightness and reconnect with joy.

  • 49: The Sleep Challenge (Part 2) with Dr Steven Todd
Join me and my special guest, sleep disorder specialist, anaesthesiologist and regenerative medicine expert Dr Steven Todd, for an insightful discussion on how intense stimulation from the outside world affects our sleep. We focus specifically on how our sensitive brains process information and how it might be more difficult for us to “filter” stimulation during the day in order to benefit from quality sleep at night.

Steven shares his passion and expertise as we explore how physiological processes, such as RAS (reticular activation system), wave cycles and the release of melatonin, orchestrate our sleep cycle. We deep dive into how these functions can be affected by a hectic, high stimulation lifestyle and what to do about it to restore quality sleep.

Steven shares the protocol he uses with his patients and a range of practical tips you will be able to implement today. He offers key resources and guidance for highly sensitive leaders and professionals to start tackling their sleep challenge effectively, with easy and doable solutions such as seeking a clear diagnosis, breathing techniques, CBD products and using sound files engineering to give the brain the waves it is missing.

    9. 47: Pace Yourself Out (Long-term Projects)
Join me this week as I explore how we highly sensitive leaders and professionals experience a loss of motivation when involved with long-term projects. I explain why we struggle to get to the finish line and what is truly happening for you when you loose focus or get distracted.

I show you how our natural gifts and strengths lead us to prefer short-term timeframes, favouring “bursts of energy” over pacing ourselves to the finish line.

I teach you four fully tested strategies for you to start approaching long-term projects with a correct pace that will suit your high sensitivity and allow you to complete every single project you commit to.

    10. 46: HSP confidence 6: Learn to rely on your HSP strengths
Join me this week to learn how to rely on your strengths as a highly sensitive person, leader and professional. I show you how being HSP is a little magical, and how our trait is also a responsibility, which comes with strengths which are invaluable and require constant management and maintenance.

I share with you my philosophy and four strategies of how to best play your strengths both in the moment and over the long-term. I teach you how mastering your areas of sensitivity is indeed the key to playing your strengths fully, not the other way around. I discuss practical tips and many examples to inspire you to dig deep and do the work which needs to be done to feel and be at your best as an HSP in the leadership space.

I show you how to reconcile effort and fun, and how to dip in and out of your strengths to create that balance, that middle ground, which so many of us HSPs struggle to reach and stay in.

    11. 45: HSP Confidence 5: Thoughts VS Truth
Join me this week as I show you how we highly sensitive leaders spend a lot of time thinking thoughts which are simply NOT true. I teach you how tell the difference between the truth and the thought errors which our are brain and nervous system are feeding us and which feel very, very true to us.

I share lots of examples of when this happens to me and to my clients, and strategies I have in place to reframe our thinking in order to stay out of overwhelm.

I teach you three fully-tested strategies to identify your thought errors and get closer to the truth when it comes to your skills, your capabilities, your results and your success. These strategies will help you to produce thoughts of a higher quality, which will keep you out of overwhelm and the “freeze” response which keeps us into inaction.

Go back to each strategy and start practising finding where your thoughts errors are and how to replace them with more productive thoughts you equally believe! This will have such a positive impact on your self-confidence and definitely spur you into action.

Join me this week as I teach you the importance of setting boundaries not only with other people, but also with yourself, in order to improve your confidence.

We explore the reasons why setting up and maintaining healthy boundaries can be particularly challenging for highly sensitive people because of our natural empathy and our constant search for connection with others. I show you how to set up your Boundaries GPS to detect that trespassing well before you get overwhelmed.

I also teach you how boundaries are deeply connected to our sense of confidence and how your confidence level will soar the moment you decide to be in the driver’s seat.

I offer strategies and examples of how to build strong and consistent boundaries in both your leadership and your social life, starting with your “non-negotiables”, along with several other fully tested and immediately applicable tips. Let’s get navigating with confidence!

Join me this week for the third episode in my 6-episode series dedicated to growing your confidence as a highly sensitive person and professional. This series will go into the end of January to set off the new year positively and give you the tools and strategies to grow and cultivate your confidence in a world not exactly tailored to your needs as a highly sensitive!

Today’s episode is a real confidence booster. We are talking about how important it is to honour and give priority to your highly sensitive voice. Your voice matters and I would like to show you why and what to do with it in order to keep developing your confidence as you enter this new year or perhaps a new phase of your career or leadership.

I teach you how to be an observer in the background AND a leader in the front line, simply by deciding that your voice is valuable. I also share one of my best strategies to start advocating for yourself as a highly sensitive leader instead of waiting for and relying on other people’s encouragement and feedback.

    14. 42: HSP Confidence 2: How to grow your self-concept
Join me this week for the second episode of my 6-episode series dedicated to growing your confidence as a highly sensitive person and professional.

I am teaching you one of the key principles I teach in my Masterclass, the self-concept, which will allow you to grow unlimited amounts of confidence, whatever your goals are for 2022 and beyond.

I share many concrete examples of how your self-concept directly affects your confidence, particularly as a highly sensitive person naturally focused on what other people might think.

I show you how your own self-concept has shaped and what the biggest influences are. I reframe the self-concept perspective in a way which is specifically tailored to HSP and explore the four core reasons why it is the best way for highly sensitive leaders and professionals to develop confidence.

Finally, I share two exercises you can apply straightaway to your specific situation in order to start growing your self-concept.
