  • 31: Human-Focused Leadership with Céline Williams
Join me this week for a deep-dive into Human-focused leadership with Founder, award-winning Executive Coach and Culture design specialist Céline Williams.
We discuss how Human-focused leadership is about putting people first and placing them at the core of the organisation’s culture. We talk about Inclusion being central to Human-focused leadership, and allowing employees and contributors to bring their whole self to work in order to create a safe space for both performance and enjoyment.
Céline is very passionate about culture design and share stories and tips of how leaders can overcome barriers when it comes to transitioning into a new culture. We discuss what to be aware of and how to best transition into a leadership style that asks of leaders to relinquish their control and interact with the employees’ lived experience.

  • 30: LGBTQ+ Leaders, Be Proud
Join me this week as I celebrate some of the most successful LGBTQ+ leaders and the values that they promote through their leadership. I also discuss the current picture of what the LGBTQ+ community experiences at work and in the leadership space - what is going well, what is not and what can be done to improve. We still have a long way to go.
My perspective on Pride month and on the LGBTQ+ community is that of an ally. I want everyone to be able to lead form a place of authenticity, without having to hide, cover or battle with prejudice and hatred. I want to create a space where everyone is comfortable bringing their whole self into work and into their leadership responsibilities.
I want to support LGBTQ+ employees, business owners and corporate leaders to grow, apply for promotion, be part of the decision-making process and have an impact on the positive change we want to see when it comes to inclusion.

  • 26: Motivation
Join me this week for a deep-dive into motivation, one of the topics I discuss the most with leadership and executive clients in coaching sessions. How do I motivate my team members? How do I adapt my leadership style in times of change or restructuring to keep my team motivated? How do I keep myself motivated in challenging times?

In this episode, I break down motivation into three of the most powerful intrinsic drivers for motivation. I depart from the traditional approach of performance appraisal and extrinsic rewards to understand what truly motivates people in this day and age. I discuss what gets in the way and fully-tested strategies to address motivation challenges at the source, within, to get your team, your clients and yourself to the next level.

  • 25: The Art of Feedback
Feedback remains a sticky point for both givers and receivers in the leadership space. Join me this week for a deep-dive into The Art of Feedback on the Inside & Out Leadership Podcast.
Why is it an art? Because it is delicate. Because it requires refinement, precision, tact, emotional intelligence and courage, both on the part of the giver and on the part of the receiver.
Feedback is a skill set in itself, to be sought and cultivated over time.
Let’s have a look at research and best tips on how to do just that.

  • 23: Highly-Sensitive Leaders
This week I open up and discuss high-sensitivity, a trait I was born with and which has had a huge influenced on my experience of leadership, of business, but also of life in general. High-sensitivity is gift which doesn't have to be taboo, hidden or repressed to do business well. It is high time we love our high-sensitivity, use it to our advantage and raise awareness so that the business and corporate space accepts and values low-stimulation environments and a different pace of work where quality, reflection and depth come first.
