In today's episode, I delve into a conversation with emerging leader, Textiles and Design graduate and blogger Daria Iwon around how racism is woven into the fabric of the fashion industry, both vertically and horizontally, on a world-wide level. We delve into the environmentally and socially unsustainable, anti-inclusive and racist practices this industry has grown to normalise in organisations and factories, from lack of diversity and representation at the top, to appalling working conditions and race for profit margins at the bottom.
