The story in this video was sent in by Todd, who, between 1989 and 1994, worked on the ramp for Delta Airlines at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. During his time there, he worked on the haunted L1011 aircraft that used spare parts from Eastern airlines flight 401 that crashed on December 29th 1972. Just a bit of background on that crash; flight 401 was a scheduled flight from JFK, New York, to Miami; the crash happened after the cockpit crew were preoccupied with a burnt-out landing gear indicator light and failed to notice that the autopilot had inadvertently been disconnected; as a result, the aircraft gradually lost altitude and crashed into the Florida Everglades. Of the 176 passengers and crew onboard, 101 lost their lives.

In the aftermath of the crash, parts of the crashed aircraft were salvaged and refitted into other L-1011s. In the months and years following the crash, numerous stories began circulating about sightings of dead crew members sitting on board these aircraft, and here we have a first-hand account from Todd, who worked one of those L1011's.

Pluckley is surrounded by beautiful countryside, orchards, and grazing sheep. No one would believe that the village has a much darker side, but with reports of terrifying shadow figures, sorrowful apparitions and strange sightings is it any wonder that Pluckley was once named in the Guinness Book of Records as the ‘most haunted village in Britain’. Decades ago the resident parish priest held a number of exorcisms around the village in the hope of ridding the place of its many paranormal incidents. It would appear that these attempts to cast out any of the manifestations didn’t work. Some of the tales told here are hundreds of years old, others much more recent. With local landmarks known as Fright Corner and Screaming Woods, here are just a few of the many spooky tales of the undead that have been recorded in the seemingly peaceful and picture-perfect village of Pluckley.

In February 1891, adverts started appearing in newspapers papers about “Ouija, the Wonderful Talking Board,” describing it as a magical device that answered questions “about the past, present and future with marvellous accuracy” and promised a link “between the known and unknown, the material and immaterial.” The mysterious talking board was marketed as a family board game. However, it soon became apparent that it was not harmless family fun to some but rather a Tool of the devil that sometimes held sinister consequences.

In this video, we look at six occasions when it was about as far from fun as you can get. These true accounts have been sent in by our viewers and act as a cautionary warning to anyone thinking of messing with an Ouija Board.
