The Redskins finally get one in the win column vs the Dolphins, in what wound up being a tight contest of two winless teams. A power run game finally got going, and the defense was good for the bulk of the game.

This week on the Hog Sty we have on a special Guest, Zac Shomler, from Strong Opinion Sports, a former college QB who’s been breaking down Dwayne Haskins’ film. Of course we can’t not talk about the Redskins coaching change, and what will that mean for the team the rest of this year, especially for this week, as they ready to face the Dolphins.

Steve and Chris start off the show talking about the new California law that allows college athletes to profit off their notoriety. Is this an existential threat to the existence of the NCAA? The Redskins dropped to 0-5 with a major change to the staff as Gruden is released. The Nationals made it to the playoffs and have faced a hard test with the Dodgers.

As the world expected, Washington bent the knee to the Patriots. This one wasn't close. Colt McCoy wasn't able to provide much hope to the struggling offense. The defense looked better, at least for half the game.

You know we are worried about this game. How, well we seemed to want to talk about anything but the looming match up with the best team in the NFL. So we would rather talk about Gruden's job status or the QB situation, anything but the Patriots.

This team is in a nuclear meltdown. Scored just 3 points vs the Giants, a bad defense. Half of your starting offense is already hurt or not playing. Haskins finally gets in the game and let's just say he looked like a rookie. Everyone wants blood from somewhere, but its unlikely fans will see the much needed changes at the top any time soon.

The Redskins keep losing, meanwhile the Nat's are on a hot streak heading into the play in wild-card game.

What's all this a boot? The Redskins are in a code red situation early with the Giants game coming up in week 4, and we suddenly have major unexpected health concerns regarding quarterback Case Keenum. But really, this game will come down to the defensive game plan for stopping rookie Daniel Jones.

Would you doubt us if I told you we discussed Antonio Brown? Well you shouldn’t because this is the straight shooter express. Of course we talk about the speed this guy went from cuckoo to (allegedly) criminal.
