The Hollywood Bowl has dedicated its stage to legendary composer John Williams, marking the first time in the venue's history that the stage has been named after a single artist.[1] Williams, known for iconic film scores such as E.T., Superman, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, and Star Wars, has conducted the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl for decades.[1] The dedication ceremony was supported by notable figures including Steven Spielberg, Kate Capshaw, Seth MacFarlane, Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall, and the J.J. Abrams Family Foundation.[1] Despite previously announcing his retirement multiple times, the 93-year-old Williams continues to compose, recently working on a new score for Steven Spielberg's UFO movie.[1]
