Dylan opens up with his thoughts on the CFB Playoff rankings which released the first standings yesterday with 1. Ohio St. 2. Georgia 3. Michigan 4. Florida St. and Dylan states that he has no problem with the first rankings and believes the committee “got it right”. Dylan adds that he does not have a problem with Georgia being at No. 2 mainly due to their strength of schedule to this point and believes the Dawgs are in the driver’s seat and will run the table.

Dylan opens up with some Falcons talk and the injury to Grady Jarrett as it was announced that he will be out for the season due to a torn ACL and Dylan expresses how he believed that this season was looking like it was going to shape up to be a really productive season for the defensive lineman with the Falcons picking up many defensive pieces to play alongside Jarrett. And while Atlanta loses Jarrett for the remainder of the season, they did make a trade for Montavious Street, acquiring him from the Philadelphia Eagles.

Dylan opens up with his thoughts on the Falcons loss to the Titans on Sunday in which he believes that Atlanta “had no business” losing to Tennessee and that they have to shoulder all the blame for the loss. Dylan adds that he believes Desmond Ridder will be the starter next week and that Arthur Smith was “being careful” with the second year quarterback.

Dylan returns with more of his thoughts on the Falcons loss to the Titans and states that he believes “it was an opportunity wasted” as Atlanta was not able to take advantage of rookie Will Levis getting the start and they were not able stop Derrick Henry in the run game. Dylan then takes calls from listeners to allow them to share their thoughts on the game.

Dylan kicks off the show previewing the Falcons/Titans matchup on Sunday and shares his thoughts on how the Falcons can get the win and he believes they must focus on stopping Derrick Henry and the run game and add pressure to Will Levis and Malik Willis, who are expected to take the snaps on Sunday due to Ryan Tannehill like not to not play.

Moving over to the offensive side of the ball, Dylan shares some of his thoughts on what will be key to a victory, to which number one is protect the ball and avoid turning the ball over. Dylan adds that he would also like to see the Falcons continue to score on their opening drives and he believes that there is an opportunity for the Falcons to take advantage of the Titans weakened secondary and Ridder can potentially have a big day.

Dylan briefly recaps the Hawks season opener in which they lost to the Hornets and Dylan dubs the game a “tail of two halves” as they played well in the first half, however second half was all Charlotte, despite a big fourth quarter by Atlanta. Dylan adds that he believes the Hawks went away from what was working for them well early on, which was getting to the basket, instead they appeared to “settle” for shots. And in the loss, Dylan states that he believes that Jaen Johnson was a bright spot for the Hawks and “proving he’s that dude”.

Dylan opens up excited about the Falcons getting the 16-13 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday and taking sole possession of first place in the NFC South. He does point out to the fact that despite the win, there are obvious things that they need to clean up, i.e. Desmond Ridder and the fumbles in the red zone. And while he believes the team should be satisfied with the win, they cannot be happy with the way they played.

Dylan comes back with more of his reaction to the Falcons win on Sunday over the Buccaneers, pointing to the fact that he believes the defense continues to “come up big” Atlanta, praising them for their three sacks and one interception in the win. He then goes to the phone lines and allows listeners to call in and share their thoughts.

Dylan continues to let the listeners call in and share their thoughts on the Falcons win over the Buccaneers on Sunday and many agree with Dylan that the Falcons defense deserves to receive more praise then they have been getting and that is largely in part to the offensive issues overshadowing them.

Dylan opens up with more preview of the Falcons matchup Sunday with the Buccaneers and stresses the importance of the Atlanta needing to snap their road game losing streak, which they have not won on the road since week three of last season. And in addition to them needing to show that they can win on the road, Dylan believes that the Falcons are better than teams than Tampa Bay has beaten, therefore should be favored in this week’s game.

Dylan reacts to sound bites from Falcons players, Chris Lindstrom, David Onyemata and Grady Jarrett. One of the comments in particular that Dylan shares his thoughts on is of Chris Lindstrom, who spoke on the mentality of the offensive line heading into Sunday’s matchup with the Buccaneers and Dylan believes that it is important for the O-line to get into their groove, especially when it comes to pass protection.

Dylan opens up the show with some thoughts on the Falcons and Buccaneers as he previews Sunday’s matchup and believes that this is a bit of a must win game for Atlanta and most importantly, an opportunity for Desmond Ridder and the birds to bounce back.
