Dylan opens up with his reaction to the Braves getting beat down by the Phillies 10-2 on Wednesday and now finding themselves down 2-1 in the NLDS and while very disappointed by the outcome, Dylan admits that in the back of his mind if he a feeling things would not go the Braves way. Dylan adds that with the fact that Bryce elder had been “shakey” of late is what led to his belief that the Phillies would pick up the win. However, despite how things went last night for Atlanta, with Spencer Strider on the mound tonight, Dylan says he is feeling “optimistic” about them being able to pull off a Game 4 win.
Dylan comes back with more on the Braves and reiterates that he feels good about Spencer Strider taking the mound tonight in Game 4 adding that with baseball being a “weird game” and anything can happen on any given day and fans just need to believe in the team. He then takes calls from listeners to allow them to share their thoughts.
Dylan wraps up his conversation on the Braves reiterating that he is confident that Spencer Strider will give Atlanta the much needed performance from the mound and the bats will heat up as they are long overdue for a big hit game in the series. He then pivots to the Falcons and previews their matchup with the Commanders on Sunday and states that he does have concerns about the defensive front the Commanders have, however, with Washington being bad in pass defense, Dylan hopes the Falcons can take advantage of it.
